Aktiver Windows 7 Pre-Beta

Are you one of the lucky few who has already installed Windows 7 Pre-beta 6801, you probably did this without a product key. Without proper activation, Windows 7 will only function for 30 days, but if you have a product key from a Windows Vista Beta 2 or any of the RC releases, you can use this to expand the activation date to the first of august 2009. If you have activation key you have probably received this in an official e-mail from Microsoft and if not it should be possible to locate one, somewhere else.To activate Windows 7 you have to do as follows:Go to “Control Panel”
  • Click on “System and Security”
  • Click on “System Properties”
  • Click on “Activate Windows now or Change product key link”
  • Windows 7 pre-Beta 6801 is now activated.
