Getting new shortcuts in your Windows 7 Start Menu

Tips og tricks til Windows 7

If you have followed our tip on how to remove latest used programs and files, your start menu will be left empty and you are now able to fill this emptiness with your own shortcuts in Windows 7. You can also use this if you want to personalize your Windows 7.

First we need to remove the list over latest used programs, Click here to read how to do that.
When this is done, you need to do this:

Find any exe file or shortcut that you would like to have placed in the Start Menu, right click it and choose 'Pin to Start menu'.

Repeat this process until you have the shortcuts you need in there.

NB: This tip is also good for Windows XP and Vista.
