Windows 7 is performing great compared to Windows Vista out of the box, but if your PC seems slow, it has become really easy to locate the reason. 

• Click Start
• Type RESMON
• The Resource Monitor is now being loaded
• Click the CPU, Memory, Network tabs and Windows 7 will automatically show you which processes are hogging the system resources the most.

In the CPU tab you will find some useful tools, like a more powerful version of Task Manager. If a program has locked up, right click the programs name in the list and select “Analyze Process”. Windows 7 will now try to give you the information you need to fix the problem.
