If you have a card reader connected to your computer, you might wonder why the drives aren’t displayed when browsing your computer. Windows 7 does not display drives that are not active out of the box, which we think is an improvement compared to Vista, but some people might want to display these anyhow, this article shows you how.

• Click on “Computer” or open any other explorer window.
• Click on “Tools” and then “Folder options”
• Press the “View” tab and clear the checkmark in “Hide empty drives in the computer folder”.

Your empty drives are now visible once again.
