Gain speed by disabling minimize maximize animationBy disabling the minimize-maximise animation, you achieve a boost in performance. The poorer performance you have, the better boost you’ll get from this.

  • Go to the Start menu. In the search menu write “SystemPropertiesPerformance”
  • Unmark the “Animate Windows when minimizing and maximising” tab
  • Click OK
  • You are done!
