In a recent briefing Microsoft Senior Vice President Bill Veghte and Paul Thurrot explained their choice of versions for Windows 7. As expected we will receive almost as many versions of Win-dows 7 as we did of Windows Vista. There are however some significant changes that are worth mentioning.
The regular user can pick between three versions, Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate. None of these versions are without Aero. Versions without Aero will only be shipping in versions for new markets that do not have the necessary hardware, to run the full Windows 7 versions.
