Windows 7 to sell 177 million copies by the end of 2009In an article from TG Daily, Bill Veghte (Microsoft senior VP) is quoted for having said that Microsoft expects to sell no less than 177 million copies of Windows 7 in 2009. Bill explained that this is the first time in two decades that Microsoft has actually turned away people, who wanted to try their new operating system.

Windows 7 RTM leaked on the netAccording to several forums a leaked copy of Windows 7 RTM has found its way to several torrent pages. The Windows 7 build number on this release is 7600.16384.090710-1945 which should be the final RTM release, that will be shipped in mid November.
